The new heart quilt comes out this week! 🩷🩷🩷 Patchwork Hearts II will be in the shop TOMORROW! The annual quilt along for it will start on Monday.

This year I revisited the popular Patchwork Hearts and gave you an upsized version. So for the quilt along, feel free to sew along using either version of Patchwork Hearts.... the new or the original.

This new one has a much bigger block with a bigger heart. That makes it a little faster to sew up. The original is much smaller hearts.

The 2025 heart quilt will be out this week! This is the 7th annual Quilty Love heart quilt! This year I revisited a popular one from the past and upsized the block for a quicker assembly. Patchwork Hearts II is stash friendly like always.

Patchwork Hearts II will be in the shop this Thursday the 9th and the annual quilt along will start on the 13th. 🩷❤️💜

Happy New Year! ✨ I try to take some time off from Quilty Love every December to recharge and rest. It was a good one! It went way too fast but was so enjoyable as I spent time sewing just for fun, doing puzzles, coloring, baking, hand quilting, eating too much and trying to sneak in walks. We are still on break this week but it’s back in the studio starting Monday. 😅

Happy Monday! I started and finished up this blue string quilt over the past two weeks. I’m trying to sew just for fun stuff in December and it’s going way too fast. 😭

Here’s the details:
🔘Blocks are 6.5 inch (6 inch finished)
🔘Strips are all random except the linen center strip. That is a 1.25” strip.
🔘10x12 layout = 120 blocks
🔘60” x 72”
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I used blues mostly in the navy family. I decided for the last batch of blocks to make them all lighter. I like the added interest they add to the quilt.
