Today I’m sharing the last Jelly Stripes sample I made for the pattern release late last year. Jelly Stripes is a quick and easy jelly roll friendly quilt pattern. You could probably sew this one together in a weekend or possibly even an afternoon.
This version of Jelly Stripes is sewn up using a Ruby Star Society Geometry Jelly Roll. I did add two extra width of fabric strips to my jelly roll for this medium throw size.

Jelly Stripes Quilt pattern
Jelly Stripes is a jelly roll friendly quilt pattern that came out late last year. It’s also part of the Quilty Love Stash Buster series since you can also use fat quarters from your stash for it. No background or accent fabric needed for this one!
Jelly Stripes is a super beginner friendly quilt pattern. It’s a quick and easy one that you could probably have sewn up in an afternoon or two.
The pattern includes the following sizes:
- Baby size quilt – 40″ x 48″
- Small throw size quilt – 48″ x 60″
- Medium throw size quilt – 56″ x 60″ (shown here)
- Large throw size quilt – 64″ x 80″
- Large bed size quilt – 96″ x 100″
Geometry Fabric by Ruby Star Society
I absolutely love this collaborative Geometry fabric line by Ruby Star Society. It’s got a retro flair to it with such a pretty color scheme. I’ve used it a few times now. The jelly rolls will be hard to find but there are still a few fat quarter bundles or yardage floating around out there.
Multi Stitch Zig Zag Quilting on a domestic machine
I quilted up this Geometry Jelly Stripes on my domestic machine using the multi stitch zig zag. I use a Janome MC6700p and this is stitch 6. I like a stitch length of 3.5 and a width of 7.0.
