Happy Monday! I had to show you what I'm working on. 😁😁😁 I felt inspired to sketch up some quilt ideas last week and as soon as this one came out of it, I had to stop everything and start sewing.

I thought it would take forever but these straight lines can go pretty fast with chunky thread and stitches.

My rainbow star blocks are done! These are all from the scrap bins 😊. Next week, I finish these Log Cabin Star blocks. #logcabinstarsquilt

Well… I didn’t do myself any favors using this

Well… I didn’t do myself any favors using this fabric for this quilt 😅😅😅. I spent some time yesterday trying to perfectly align them for hand quilting and I’m over here still trying 😅😅😅

I think I need to do a combo of spray basting and pins. I also should have done us all a favor and given it a bigger border to allow some squaring up space after quilting. I didn’t have any trouble aligning my past samples because they were made with sturdier fabric. But… i’ll get it figured out and I’m very excited to start adding some hand quilted stitches. 😊😊😊

A new week, a new quilt 😀. When I started the weekly featured quilt I had no intentions of actually sewing it up each week but honestly I can’t resist. I’ve really been enjoying it.

So here’s the current weekly featured quilt- ➕ Double The Plus ➕

This is a simple double sided plus quilt. I’m very excited to hand quilt this one since I don’t have a current hand quilting project right now. I made it using @fableism #sproutwovens because they are amazing to hand stitch. Now I just have to figure out how to line these two quilts up perfectly and baste them 😳😳😳
