Scrappy String Star Quilted Pillow

I loved this fun quilting project!   Pillows are a nice break
from quilts because they come together so quickly 😉

I had my Mom for our sisters gift exchange again this year
so I made her a scrappy star quilted pillow using this gorgeous Miss
Kate fabric.   I only had one charm pack to use but this was
the perfect project since it uses tiny strips anyways.

I mostly followed the tutorial I found on Little Miss Shabby’s blog.

This was my first time paper piecing and a good way to ease into
it as the scrappy factor is more forgiving.  I actually started this
first piece on the wrong side of the paper 😉
