  • Here’s a look at my finished blue string quilt! This one was fun! I’ve been wanting to make a blue version for a long time since it’s my most plentiful scrap color. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I quilted this one up myself using the wavy stitch. It’s backed in a plaid fabric by Art Gallery Fabrics. #stringquilt #scrappyquilt #scrapstashquilt
  • My hand quilted scrap stash Log Cabin quilt is done! This was a fun one! It’s all made using my scrap stash. Then I finished it off with a @quiltersdream puff batting so it’s nice and puffy. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I first hand quilted on the diagonal but I thought the blocks got a little lost in the puff so I finished it off by outlining the blocks with my machine. Had I known I would do that then I would have preferred to start with the machine quilting to stabilize the layers and then do the hand quilting. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Quilted up with pearl cotton size 8 thread. I think I used a size 5 Dritz quilting needle. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This one was inspired by those gorgeous scrappy log cabin quilts that @maechenmarie made. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #logcabinquilt #scrapstashquilt #scrapquilt #scrappyquilt #handquilting
