Today I’m sharing this Sagewood fabric Lucky Log Cabins quilt! I sewed up this quick and easy stash buster recently using this gorgeous upcoming fabric line by Moda Fabrics.
Sagewood fabric by Crystal Manning for Moda Fabrics
Crystal Manning sent me this bundle of her upcoming fabric line with Moda Fabrics and I was thrilled to sew something up with it. Sagewood has deep rich colors in beautiful prints. This bundle also has a handful of lighter prints so I immediately went through my stash busters to find the right pattern.
Some of my stash busters are perfect for bundles like this with a mix of dark and light prints. Lucky Log Cabins is one of them. It doesn’t use any additional background or yardage so it’s easy to mix up those lights and darks.
Sagewood will be in quilt shops starting in March.
Lucky Log Cabins quilt
Lucky Log Cabins is one of the Quilty Love stash buster quilt patterns and it came out quite a few years ago now. It’s probably the quilt I’ve made the most of. And that’s because it’s quick and easy and works with so many different fabrics. You don’t have to overthink this quilt since it’s nice and scrappy.
I used all but the blacks in the Sagewood fabric line for this quilt.

I sent this Sagewood quilt off to Modern Textiles for quilting. We went with a simple wavy pattern called Good Vibrations.
