Stepping Stars quilt made with solids and Starry fabric

This Stepping Stars quilt was my very first test quilt with this new pattern. A while back someone had suggested that my Palette Picks bundle would coordinate nicely with Ruby Star Society Multi Starry. I couldn’t agree more!

Beginner friendly Star quilt pattern
Stepping Stars is definitely designed with the beginner in mind. I chose a star construction that ensures sharp points every time. If you have ever lost your points on a sawtooth star block then you will really like this one. It’s a simple construction that keeps sharp points every time.
Long Arm Quilting
I sent off this solids + Starry Stepping Stars quilt to Modern Textiles for quilting. We chose this classic clamshell pattern. I tend to like a smaller scale quilting design with long arm quilting so these are cute little clamshells.
