Today I’m sharing a pair of Baby Infinite Hearts quilts that I made a while back. Both of these baby heart quilts are made using my Palette Picks bundle with Robert Kaufman.
Infinite Hearts is one of the annual Quilty Love scrappy heart quilts and looks super cute in this small little baby size. All of the Quilty Love heart quilts are scrap and stash friendly or fat quarter friendly. In this case I split the Palette Picks bundle into warms and cools and made a baby heart quilt with each.
The Infinite Hearts quilt pattern is in the Quilty Love pattern shop. The Quilty Love Palette Picks bundle is also available in the Quilty Love shop.
Infinite Hearts Baby quilt pattern
Infinite Hearts is the third scrappy heart quilt pattern added to the Quilty Love pattern library. Each January I release a heart pattern that is stash and scrappy friendly. These heart quilts have become a fun tradition.
The scrappy heart quilt patterns are usually fat quarter, stash and scrap friendly. The idea is to give you a pattern early in the year that can be sewn up with the fabrics already in your stash.
Infinite Hearts quilt pattern sizes
Infinite Hearts includes tons of quilt sizes in the pattern. The quilt pattern includes the following sizes:
- Baby size (shown here)
- Small throw size or lap quilt
- Medium throw size quilt
- Large throw size quilt
- Twin bed size quilt
These cute little solid heart quilts are the baby size.
Quilty Love Palette Picks bundle
Both of these baby heart quilts are made using my Palette picks bundle with Robert Kaufman. The Quilty Love palette picks bundle was released about a year ago. It’s a curated bundle of Robert Kaufman basics that includes both solids and some Essex Linen. This was a fun project to take on.
This blog post has more info and all of the sample quilts of my Palette Picks bundle.
The Quilty Love palette picks bundle is available in my shop here.
Quilt background
The background for both of these scrappy baby heart quilts is a Carolyn Friedlander print from my stash. I believe this is the Wide Screen print and leftover from various quilt backings.
Wavy Stitch Quilting
I quilted up both of these baby scrappy heart quilts using the wavy stitch on my Janome. I love this stitch and quilt majority of my quilts with it. I finally did a video tutorial of Wavy Stitch quilting and you can view it here.
If your machine has this wavy stitch it’s a really great versatile quilting option. It’s super easy and forgiving and looks great on all quilts.
