For some reason I never got around to photographing my Cotton and Steel Swoon Quilt! I finished this quilt a few months ago and it’s even had a rotation on my bed. This is Thimbleblossom’s Swoon pattern. Since the pattern itself leans more traditional I went for a really modern Cotton and Steel basics print….

Introducing Double the Plus Quilt Pattern
I’m excited to share the Double the Plus quilt pattern to you all. There are plenty of Plus quilt patterns out but there are a few unique features that inspired this one. First of all I wanted a smaller plus block. Most plus quilts have large blocks. Second of all, I wanted it to be…
Mini Bow Ties Quilt
Today I’m sharing this mini bow ties quilt I started many months back. I made this one at a retreat over the summer and it went together super quickly. It’s simply a mini charm pack of Scrumptious by Bonnie and Camille and 8in grey squares. Sew the charm to two opposite corners of each square.
Daysail scrappy granny square quilt
Just can’t resist photographing fabric. Especially when it’s this pretty! I actually opened this daysail jelly roll up the second I took it out of the mailer. And then promptly cut it up into little squares for a scrappy granny square quilt. This granny square quilt remains a quilt top along with several others. The…
Triangle Pillow
I have been wanting to attempt triangles ever since the first try. But I also wanted to use a ruler this time around. I ordered Jaybird Quilts HexNmore ruler because it does both triangles and my other love Hexies 🙂 A pillow is a quick project and a good way to do triangles without getting…
My flannel stripey quilt
This black and white stripes quilt was my first finish this winter. I’m still loving solids and I love the simplicity of black and white. When I saw Rad and Happy using flannel as the backing on some of her quilts I had to make my own. Living in what feels like the arctic we…
Pow Wow 2.0
I really love this Pow Wow pattern by Cluck Cluck Sew. I decided to be the really boring aunt this year and make my nephew a quilt for his birthday. These Riley Blake fabrics are perfect for his bedroom theme. You can’t go wrong with this pattern. The pow wow looks great in any fabrics!…
HST quilted pillow
Making pillows is so fun! I made this one for my husband’s grandma for Christmas. I used my leftover half square triangles from my swoon quilt. One of these days I’ll make a project that uses up the rest of them. Somehow I only managed to take iphone pics before I gifted it. Loving the…
Baby triangle quilt in solids
This triangle quilt is my first attempt at triangles. It is not as easy as it looks…lol. It’s a bit wonky and doesn’t line up perfectly but it was for my new nephew and I’m thinking he won’t care 😉 I made my own triangle template for this quilt.
Another solids charm quilt
I’m really loving the solids trend in quilting right now. I sketched out this design and made it with 5″ charm squares. The navy is a bella solid that I bought as a charm pack. Super easy and quick to go together. Backing is a bright triangle fabric by Michael Miller fabrics.
